Introduction:
Website Terms and Conditions of Use Relating to www.makeslime.co.za a division of Amkay Technologies (Pty) Ltd a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa.
These Terms and Conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the makeslime Amkay Technologies (Pty) Ltd (“MakeSlime”) website located at the domain name ww.makeslime.co.za (“the Website”). By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download and/or otherwise copy or distribute Content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the MakeSlime.
Credit Card Security
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the MakeSlime’s bank account, the details of which will be provided after checkout. Credit card transactions will be acquired for the MakeSlime via approved payment gateways. Our payment gateways use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Customer details will be stored by the MakeSlime separately from card details
Cancellation & returns Policy
CANCELLATIONS
An order is confirmed and will go into processing as soon as payment has been received.
Should you cancel your order before it has been processed and packaged a full refund will be is issued less any banking and credit card charges incurred.
Should you cancel your order after it has been packaged a 80% refund will be issued. The 20% will go towards time and materials used to process your order.
Please note that a lot of our slimes are made to order, therefore we, unfortunately, do not offer any refunds for cancellation on most slimes ordered.
DEFECT PRODUCTS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
It is advisable to check your order for any shipping damage upon delivery and before the courier leaves your premises, as this isn’t always possible we allow notifying us within 24 hours of any shipping damage including pictures of the damage. Upon inspection, we reserve the right to either offer a full refund for the damaged product or a replacement.
Slime leaves us in perfect condition with “this side up” and “fragile” stickers. We hold no responsibility for slimes that may mix (layered colour slimes) or become sticky due to weather during transit. We do however provide a ready to use activator and a care sheet with instructions on how to test if your slime is sticky for you and what to do should your slime arrive sticky. As well as instructions on what to do and what not to do with your slime.
No returns are accepted unless the product is proven to be defective in which case the following steps need to be followed:-
Return to the allocated return address
If a product is found to be defective your account with us will be credited to the same value as your original purchase for the product.
If no defect is found you will be liable for a shipping charge to have the item sent back to you.
Products and Availability
Subject to stock availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 – 2 working days and handed over to a courier company for delivery. Should MakeSlime.co.za be unable to fulfil any order placed by you due to stock having sold out you will be entitled to a full refund.
The MakeSlime will supply all goods to the courier in good order and cover the cost of insurance, should in the event goods arrive at the chosen delivery address damaged the MakeSlime will assist with a claim with the courier and will replace the damaged goods.
The MakeSlime reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the MakeSlimes standards. Should the MakeSlime exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Errors
MakeSlime shall take all reasonable efforts to accurately indicate Purchase Prices and delivery charges. However, should Products be erroneously offered at incorrect Purchase Prices and/or delivery charges, MakeSlime will not be obliged to sell Products at such incorrect Purchase Prices and/or delivery charges and shall only be liable to refund monies paid should you not wish to proceed with the Purchase at the correct Purchase Price and/or delivery charge.
Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
MakeSlime provides certain information at the Website. Content currently or anticipated to be displayed at this Website is provided by MakeSlime, its affiliates and/ or subsidiary, or any other third party owners of such content, and includes but is not limited to Literary Works, Musical Works, Artistic Works, Sound Recordings, Cinematograph Films, Sound and Television Broadcasts, Program-Carrying Signals, Published Editions and Computer Programs (“The Content”). All such proprietary works, and the compilation of the proprietary work, are copyright the MakeSlime, its affiliates or subsidiary, or any other third party owner of such rights (”The Owners”), and is protected by South African and International copyright laws. The MakeSlimes reserve the right to make any changes to the website, the Content, or to the products and/ or services offered through the Website at any time and without notice. All rights in and to the Content are reserved and retained by the Owners. Except as specified in these Terms and Conditions, the User is not granted a license or any other right including without limitation under Copyright, Trademark, Patent or other intellectual Property Rights in or to the Content.
Limitation of Liability
The Website and all Content on the Website, including any current or future offer to products or services, are provided on an “as is” basis, and may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. The Owners make no warranty or representation as to the availability, accuracy, or completeness of Content. Neither MakeSlime nor any holding company, affiliate or subsidiary of MakeSlime, shall be held responsible for any direct or indirect special, consequential or other damage of any kind whatsoever suffered or incurred, related to the use of, or the inability to access or use the Content or the Website or any functionality thereof, or of any linked website, even if MakeSlime is expressly advised thereof.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and ensure all the necessary steps to protect the personal information you give us. The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the MakeSlime and not sold or made known to third parties.
Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. We will only contact you for marketing if you have given us your consent. You may elect to unsubscribe from our marketing communication at any time. The MakeSlime undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold.
The MakeSlime cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
